Over the past 12 years Women's Hope education and Training (WHEAT) has facilitated an amazing synergy between powerful women, those who assist us in empowering women and grassroots women. Through supporting women-led community based organisations with training and capacity building WHEAT has developed leadership in women that has seen many projects emerge, flourish, alleviate poverty and uplift communities.
Those who have contributed to WHEAT may claim part of these successes; they have also been part of the numerous networking and mobilising events that have greatly inspired many attendees to join in the movement of women supporting women.
We have the experience and infrastructure to locate projects in under-developed areas. Your investment will benefit more people over a greater area more effectively.
Supporting WHEAT can count towards several components of the BBBEE scorecard. WHEAT is a non-profit organisation, registered as NPO 011 385 and a public benefit organisation PBO 930011542. Donations to WHEAT are fully tax deductible, and we provide a 18a tax certificate.
