WHEAT Fundraising Workshops!
The WHEAT Women’s Fund continues to facilitate fundraising workshops in local areas, with workshops in Ravensmead, Salt River and Delft being the more recent.
The aim of the workshops is to discuss the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method as a means to equip the participants with tools that they can use to raise funds for their organizations. The overall message for the workshops is to encourage organizations to acknowledge their strength, skills and resources that they already have individually and collectively, which they should use, not only as a source of motivation, but also as a mechanism to leverage additional funding.
