Completing the Grant Application Form
 
When completing the grant application form, please provide information and answers that are considered honest and accurate to the best of your knowledge.  If additional space is required for any section of the application, attach a sheet of paper to the back of the application and number and label the text correctly.
 
  1. Application information
This section of the application form is compulsory. Everything on this page needs to be completed where applicable e.g. NPO registration. Applicable documentation to be included for this section:
  • NPO registration certificate (if applicable)
  • Budget for application
 
  1. Grant
Questions 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 needs to be completed for any grant application. If applying for funding for training additional questions 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 need to be completed.
Applicable documentation to be included for this section:
  • Training certificates
  • Quotes/invoices to support application
  • Training programme and cost breakdown
 
  1. Organisational Overview
Questions 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5 provides information which gives us an idea of the work the organisation does and some challenges they face. Questions 3.6 and 3.7 provide information and insight into the staff and committee structure of the organisation. It is very important that the members, their position and responsibilities within the organisation/group are listed in this section. Applicable documentation to be included:
  • Organisational information-pamphlets, brochures etc.
  • Photo’s of members, work and/or products if available
  • Letter of endorsement
  • Organisation’s Constitution
